Leverage 3rd-party developers

Interested in finding an independent developer to help you build a Miro app or integration? Although we don’t have an official channel for such requests, there are some best practices for sourcing a trusted partner from Miro’s community (or elsewhere) that you may find helpful.

The Miro Developer Community

The Miro Community and Developer Discord are both great places to start when looking for help from an independent, 3rd-party developer. Some tips to get started:

• Leverage the Developer Forum or the Miro for Developers Discord server to engage developers and users who are most familiar with the Miro Developer Platform and its capabilities.
• If you create a post, include details about what you’re working on and provide a clear description of what you’re looking to achieve (what’s the problem you’re trying to solve, the workflow you’re trying to enable, etc.)
• Share only ideas or problem areas that you have a clear understanding of and/or direction for
• Remember that our Developer Forum and Discord server are open communities, and you may receive replies or responses from any member of the community, regardless of their skill sets or whether they’re able to help you independently.

Keep in mind that it’s not permitted to directly solicit goods or services from Miro users. Rather, we encourage you to leverage our public community and developer forums to build relationships with other users and developers whose insights and skills could be a good match for a project you’re working on or are interested in pursuing.

Miro does not officially endorse or have specific recommendations for independent development partners, and you’re strongly encouraged to use your discretion when enlisting members of the community for assistance with a particular project.
